Oxford schools of the future.
The fantastic 'Oxford schools of the future' residential takes place in the Spring Term!
This is a voluntary process; interested children will need to apply for a place by writing a letter, stating why they think they should be chosen.
Successful candidates will then attend an after-school club where they prepare a presentation to show the Oxford University faculty during the residential!
Homework
-
You will find all homework tasks for each week below, under the date it was given out.
-
Homework is handed out on a Wednesday to be returned on a Monday, in homework books.
-
Homework should be of the same standard as in school - use a ruler and a black pen. If you need any of these, please ask.
- Homework this year will be completed entirely in books; this way, we can avoid any potential technology issues!
- Your child's homework sheet will be stuck on the left-hand side, and tasks are to be completed on the right.
- There will be a reading task, a maths task to complete, and a spelling list to practice - we will then look at the spellings in school time.
- If there are any issues, try to notify Year 5 staff before the end of Thursday, to ensure homework can be completed on time.
If homework is not completed, your child will be at a disadvantage because we use it to support our learning in school.
