Year 3 have began their new science topic, 'Plants' and they have done such wonderful work on their first lesson we thought we had to share all their hard work!

This term we are beginning a new statutory Relationship Education curriculum.
Our first module is called Created and Loved by God and explores the individual. Rooted in the teaching that we are made in the image and likeness of God, it helps children to develop an understanding of the importance of valuing themselves as the basis for personal relationships.
During this unit we are encouraging you to focus on 'The Examen' this is a prayer technique that you can learn to help you reflect on the events of your day and remind yourself that God is with you always. Please read the document below which will support you to become familiar with this. We hope that you find this relaxing and that it helps to bring you closer to God.
Home Worship Areas
Thank you to Grace for sending in a photograph of her home worship area. The candles make it look so peaceful. If anyone else has any photographs of their prayer space at home, then please send us them.
This week you have one final 1001 Nights story. We follow Sindbad on his adventures and you will find out if your predictions about this story were, infact right!! If you have enjoyed these stories and want to read more then please let us know and we will send you a scanned copy to your email address. Exciting news too!!
