In Year 6, we work hard to improve our mathematical understanding. We do this by looking at problems in different ways; for example: investigating patterns, exploring different ways to problem solve, discussing with our peers. We understand that in order for us to improve, we must improve our fluency in maths and make links between different concepts.
As we use the 'Maths Mastery' approach to learning and teaching, we regularly use a combination of Concrete, Pictorial and Abstract methods in our daily lessons.
