All homework will now be posted on this page, however spellings will be continued on SpellingFrame

Homework is given out every Friday and must be returned by the following Thursday; it should be completed in your homework book.

Homework should be to the same standard as in school. If you do require any resources or support, please ask BEFORE the homework is due.

We are also doing 'STRIVE FOR 5', so if your child has read five times that week they will receive a sticker in their reading record and if this is consistently done they will receive an end of term treat!

If homework or weekly reading is not completed, you will be at a disadvantage because we use it to support our learning in school.

Below you can see some of Year 3's OUTSTANDING homework - work hard and it could be you!

In school, when completing guided reading tasks or lessons and when reading with your children we focus on VIPERS and the questioning techniques it offers.

Please feel free to use them when reading with your child at home, as this will help improve their ability to understand what they have read and being able to unpick hidden meanings.
