Thursday 4th June 2020

Good morning, We hope you are all doing well and enjoying your home learning activities. We have just been looking over the art activities some of the children created during our Fun Friday Art day. There are some fantastic creations.  There is a new tab on the year 3 page called 'Our Learning' where we will be uploading examples of our work children have emailed to us for everyone to see.  Have a little look so see what everyone has been up to and email any examples to us so we can show your work off, "It's your moment to shine".  Here is an example of Mrs Jewell's creations over half term.

I have been busy creating this picture of my dog Albert (you know how much I love him!!)

No photo description available.

Also Charlie, Jamie and I decorated our own 'lock down' pebbles and of course they were sparkly and covered in jewels. Our stones were placed on a bridge where we live with lots of other peoples. A little girl began the collection of stones to decorate the bridge and now it is filled with decorated stones that have now been cemented in, to create a long lasting memory.  It even featured on the BBC Radio Cumbria News. See the clip below, can you spot ours????

Wednesday 3rd June 2020

Good morning, as some of you will already know we are making phone calls to you all once again.  It's been a while since we have spoken to you all and its lovely to hear how you are getting on!

After speaking to a couple of you, we've been made aware that for some the maths activities are a bit of a pain, as you either don't have printers or the option to write directly onto the sheet via your mouse (once you've downloaded the activity sheet) isn't working.  If this applies to you, can you please email school and we will print these out for you to collect from the school gate at the start of each week.

Thank you.

Tuesday 2nd June 2020

Good morning everyone,  You may have noticed that we have a new link on our class page; 'Our Learning'.

We are hoping to be able to show case examples of the wonderful work we are sure you are doing at home.  We have received a few bits of work from some of you over the past couple of months, but we would love to see a wider range of examples of what you have been doing.  All you have to do is take a photograph of your home learning page and email it to

Below is a photograph of Joanna's fatastic poem 'Life After Lockdown'  This has also been added to the 'Our Learning' page........the first of many examples to come....we hope!!
