As a school we follow the ‘Come and See’ Programme. This scheme is split up into nine themes, of which the whole school work on at the same time.

The children will be making regular visits to Church and take part in Acts of Collective Worship during school times.

RE Activities and Visits to Church

Thursday 19th October- We learnt about our class Saint. We learnt the story of St Bernadette and then visited the grotto at St Mary's church.

Visits to church...

15th September 2017- Year 2 children took our Reception class down to church this afternoon to help them learn more about our mass.
They helped them with making the sign of the cross with holy water and how to genuflect. Thankyou year 2

November 2017-

On Friday we went to church to learn more about baptism with Father Paul. We had a Mum, Dad and 2 Godparents.

December 2017

Wow! Well done everyone for you excellent performance in our 'Nativity'. You were all fantastic. 

February 2018

We visited Church to hold a mini mass. We learnt more about mass and how we gather together as a community to worship God.

February - Prayer and Liturgy

In Prayer and Liturgy, we looked at our new Traveling Bible bag, which will be going home with a child on Wednesday's for you to use at home. The children have been role playing Prayer and Liturgy in the deconstruccted role play.
