St. Patrick's Catholic Primary School

Making learning irresistible

SPRING

As you all know learning in reception takes in many different forms, it isn't always an end product or a piece of work. Learning happens through problem solving, interactions, imaginations, discussions, listening, exploring the outdoors, investigating, being curious, role playing, being creative and being physical to name but a few! Each week we will upload the children's learning and adventures.

Week Beginning 29th March

This week we have been....

  • Going Easter mad! We made Easter craft, enjoyed Easter treats and even had a visit from the Easter Bunny!
  • Continuing to practise our subtraction skills.
  • Busy in the continuous provision making and building different types of houses and imaginary worlds.
  • Enjoying cereal, crackers, yogurt and fruit in the snack area.
  • We designed our own Easter eggs and wrote sentences to describe them.
  • Learning more about the stations of the cross and the importance of Easter in our Catholic lives.
  • Reading daily in our reading groups and have been making some great progress!
